Happy Hump Day Memes: Hump Day, also known as Happy Hump Day, is a Wednesday in the midst of the work week, when work load is on the rise and the focus shifts to the weekend.

Hump Day is also known as Camel’s Day because of the hump on the back of camels. Hump Day was initially used as a term for Wednesday in 1950, and ever since then, every Wednesday in the office has been referred to as hump day.

GEICO aired a commercial in September 2013 that depicted a camel celebrating Hump Day, and the commercial received positive reviews almost immediately since it was so relatable to office workers. Caleb the camel wanders around the office asking his coworkers what day it is, as if teasing them in some way.
